They say it’s not easy bein’ green. As a green development, we agree—it would be much easier to do things the typical way. But Lewis Farm Conservancy is anything but typical. We’re actively involved with the “LEED for Homes” pilot program promoting Green Building Council efforts and ENERGY STAR® solutions. Our homes will make a positive difference in the way you live with old world craftsmanship, new world technology, and a strong ecological philosophy.
Each Lewis Farm home is unique but shares the following traits:
- Durable, low-maintenance exteriors of pre-cast concrete clapboards or shingles by Hardiplank, providing a 15-year warranty on siding
- Optional vinyl siding with paintable, weather-resistant trim by Azek
- Septic systems with minimal impact on the environment and a smaller than average disposal field by
OxyPro
- Construction specifications designed to preserve the highest quality air inside the home by sealing out moisture and trace gases
- Optional HVAC systems (specially designed furnaces, in-wall humidifiers, etc.) that maintain healthy conditions inside the home for you and your home’s building materials
Continuing the focus on the environment, Lewis Farm homes are sited to take best advantage of the natural landscape. |
